Zillion Whales, a top-tier game developer, recently announced a partnership with Ronin Network to launch their new game, “Wild Forest.” This real-time strategy (RTS) game, designed specifically for mobile platforms, offers simultaneous gameplay rather than turn-based action. It blends rapid player-vs-player combat with NFT collection features.
“Wild Forest” offers a unique RTS gameplay experience where the primary goal is to demolish the adversary’s castle. Unlike typical RTS games that sprawl across vast landscapes, “Wild Forest” limits its battlefield to just one screen. This game prioritizes swift decision-making, strategic planning, and tactical prowess during player-vs-player (PvP) battles.
“Wild Forest” has a gameplay that’s straightforward to grasp but challenging to master. Players spawn units, accumulate resources, and attack their opponents. With its fast-paced nature, a single misstep could mean the difference between victory and defeat.
A standout feature of “Wild Forest” is its deck-building system. Before entering a battle, players assemble a card deck that determines the units they can use in the game. As they advance, players have the opportunity to optimize their decks using experience points and in-game currency.
Furthermore, “Wild Forest” enables players to acquire, exchange, and display in-game items as NFTs. These digital collectibles vary from exclusive units to distinctive skins.
“In the future, players will have the ability to trade in-game items such as Unit and Skin NFTs, $WF tokens, and other assets on the secondary market.”
Zillion Whales, founded in 2013, is renowned for creating top-notch strategy games, with “Mushroom Wars 2” being one of their standout releases. They’ve consistently focused on providing high-quality RTS experiences tailored for today’s mobile devices.
Andrey Korotkov, the CEO of Ronin Network, expressed his excitement about the collaboration, remarking, “Joining the Ronin family has been a thrilling experience, and we’re deeply grateful for the warm reception and backing from Sky Mavis. We look forward to leveraging our years of strategy game expertise in the Web3 space.”
Currently, the game is in its alpha phase and available exclusively by invitation. There are plans to expand its availability on platforms such as the Play Store and App Store in future development stages.
